After seven enjoyable years the Christmas lights display at 11 Maple St Lugarno is no more. 2005 was sadly the final year
for Lugarno Lights.
The display in 2005 was once again dedicated to raising money for the
Make-a-Wish Foundation which grants wishes to children with a life-threatening
illness.
The display raised $112,000 in 2004 and
$150,000 in 2005. That brought our grand
total raised for the Make-a-Wish Foundation to $380,000.
Thank you to all those who
visited for your patience, kind comments and most importantly your generosity.
A big thanks to HURSTVILLE COUNCIL for its tremendous assistance with
the running of the event.
Thanks also to the local residents for their ongoing understanding and support.
